Process
How a strata railings project moves through our shop
1. Strata council engagement. Initial meeting with council, property manager, and engineering consultant to scope the project.
2. Engineering and design. Structural engineering and building envelope consultant involvement, sealed drawings for the new guard system.
3. Funding approval. Strata council secures funding through contingency reserve or special levy. We support with accurate costing.
4. Shop drawings and submittals. Fabrication drawings, material submittals, and strata council review.
5. Fabrication. 2 to 4 months for mid-sized projects at our Burnaby shop.
6. Phased installation. 4 to 8 units per week, with advance resident notice and property manager coordination.
